I'm trying to make a default layout with a background image, and I paste the image url where it says (image url here) but then on my page it's just like a grey background. help!

Maybe your image URL isn't right.
Try at www.hot-lyts.com , search for "background generator". Although the outcome might be different from what you want. The background would appear, like, beneath your myspace. Yeah, it's complicated. .__________.
